That picture you see above is what the face of a guilty man looks like (assuming this picture I found from Google Images was taken directly after he was arrested – which is high doubtful). Either way, Governor Rod Blagojevich has been arrested today on federal corruption charges, lending further credence to my theory of never trusting a man with a first name you can pronounce and a last name you can’t.
From the article, “On wiretaps, Blagojevich was intercepted conspiring to trade the Senate seat of Obama, a former U.S. senator from Illinois, for positions that Obama would have the power to appoint, or in exchange for millions of dollars in funding for a non-profit organization that Blagojevich would run, according to federal charges”
I’m no genius, but i’m pretty sure it’s frowned upon to auction of something as important as a US Senate Seat. Heck, my mom got angry when I auctioned off an old lamp.
This arrest is good news for all of the people that went to high school or college with Gov. Blagojevich and secretly hated him, only to have to watch his career ascend him to Governor of Illinois. Well, now your hatred has been vindicated. Amen.
